A Beautiful Family & New Life

Here's a few favorites from my recent photoshoots...

First, a beautiful family, The Woodman's...

Their little boy is such a cutie!

And my first (and hopefully not my last) maternity session...

There's somthing so beautiful about life growing within the womb. A new life. A beautiful new baby that is anticipated to show his face soon. And a beautiful new mama.

Natural Light Adult Entry

Love these two sharing that special book together.
No flash. Only light that came in through the windows behind me was used in this photo.

Natural Light Kids Entry

I love natural light photography. Its my absolute favorite. I love the ambiance it creates when there is no flash. Simply beautiful. And I think it fits so well with candid style pictures.

My Mess

This week's iheartfaces photo contest theme is "Messy"...

I love this for photo two reasons... One, because it so epitomizes my son with his love of paint and his love of being MESSY combined... and two, because it captures his big beautiful dark eyes in a look that I often see right now. A look that says a million words. He may be a mess, but he's my mess. =)
